Can I store my personal belongings at the house?

We require that the homes we rent to our tenants be vacant. The reason behind this is that we cannot assign value to personal belongings and furniture. So, if something were to get damaged, it would be impossible to put a value on that item. We ask that all homes be cleared of furniture and personal belongings prior to a tenant moving in.
