I have an alarm system. Can I make my tenants pay for that?

A lot of properties that we come across have built-in alarm systems with a transferable service. This can be a great marketing tool to pass on to prospective tenants. However, we cannot require them to carry a subscription. Whether or not the tenant chooses to utilize the security system is up to them. So, no we cannot make the tenant pay for the alarm system, though if they choose to utilize it then yes, they would be responsible for the bill.
